Agreement Letter 2018: Activities
To achieve this objective indicated in the title, two workshops were held in 2018 in April in Lima and in June in Bogotá, with the aim of sharing experiences and learning among the universities mobilized in previous years and, as a result of these workshops, it was verified also that the legislative regulations on universities in the countries indicated allowed very diverse curricular developments in both undergraduate, postgraduate, seminars or research lines.
The Conference-Workshop has involved Universities from 6 countries (Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina and Spain) with authorities and academic managers (Rectors, Vice-rectors, Deans or Directors of Schools and Directors of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs), promoting dialogue on relevant aspects in relation to the IAR principles and the DVGT.

The Rector of the UNMSM, Dr. Orestes Cachay, inaugurated these Conferences in which representatives of 10 Latin American Universities participated, in addition to the UNMSM and the UPM of Spain, the U. Politecnica Salesiana of Ecuador, the U. Católica Santa María de Arequipa , U. Nacional de la Plata from Argentina, U. Sedes Sapientiae from Lima, PAD from Lima, U, Nacional from San Agustín de Arequipa, U. Nacional from Altiplano de Puno and U. Nacional from Colombia, which was headquarters of the Conference in Bogotá.

The Rector of the National University of Colombia, inaugurated the conference with the participation of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the Graduate College of Mexico, the Polytechnic Salesian University of Ecuador, the University of Tolima and the Autonomous University of Nariño and the Pedagogical and Technological University Colombia (UPTC) of Colombia and the participation of the National Land Agency of Colombia.
