Agreement Letter 2017: Objectives
Services will contribute to the following Organizational Objective:
The achievement of FAO's objectives is underpinned by diversification and expansion of partnerships and advocacy activities, increased public awareness, political support and resources and enhancing capacity building and knowledge management.
Specifically, the services will help to sensitize non-state actors - especially companies of different sizes and academia - in the application of the IAR Principles, promoting collaborative research and dialogue among multiple stakeholders, emphasizing relevant aspects of the DVGT . All these actions will be carried out with the medium and long-term objective of inserting the subject in its different forms in the curricula of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as in research activities, in the universities with which this agreement will be worked.
The results of the agreement will be raising awareness on the issue of IAR at the level of companies, academia and other non-state actors, with an emphasis on the theme of DVGT; capacity building on academic-level topics on the aforementioned topic and content design addressing these topics for insertion in study plans for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the universities with which this agreement will be worked.
