Conceptual framework: Working with People (WWP)
The territorial research workshops and the Days for dialogue, reflection and debate are developed within the conceptual framework called «Working With People» as a new approach to Planning and sustainable management of rural development projects (Cazorla et al, 2013).
This WWP model is the result of 25 years of experience in the field of rural development project management, in different international contexts. The model is understood as a professional practice developed in cooperation that seeks to connect knowledge and action through common projects that integrate and develop learning and values in the people who participate in the context of the projects and joint work.
With the WWP approach, workshops and exchanges of experiences are undertaken with entrepreneurs and with the selected rural communities, thus having “live” documents on successful experiences and on the application of IAR principles.
This conceptual WWP framework is synthesized around three components - ethical-social, technical-business and political-contextual - that interact to empower and strengthen themselves through social learning processes and that guide the application of the IAR Principles aimed at promoting responsible investment in agriculture and food systems.
